Yossi Cohen
Founder & CEO - Panaya Inc.
Yossi has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, in which he focused on developing tools solutions for reengineering, integration, and database technologies. Yossi was previously the founder and CEO of Alexandria - a database migration technology company whose customers include Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney, CitiBank, Daimler-Chrysler, and New York State. Alexandria was acquired by BluePhoenix (NASDAQ: BPHX) in 2002. Before that Yossi was the founder and CEO of Predicate Software, a professional services company specializing in complex migration and integration projects in Israel. Yossi was also a software engineer and DBA at Formula (NASDAQ: FORTY), Jacada (NASDAQ: JCDA) and in the Israeli Air Force. Yossi holds a B.Sc. Cum Laude and a M.Sc. Summa Cum Laude in Computer Sciences, both from the Tel Aviv University. Yossi is currently completing his Ph.D., which describes a framework for building database software analysis tools.
Arad Naveh
General Partner - Benchmark Capital
Aradhas extensive operating and venture capital experience in Silicon Valley and Israel. At Benchmark, Arad led several investments in the areas of Enterprise IT, Networking and Internet Infrastructure. Prior to Benchmark, Arad was a director of business development at Cisco, where he was responsible for investment and M&A activity in Israel from 2000-2002. In a former position, Arad was the founder and CEO of Class Data, which was acquired by Cisco in May 1998. Arad holds a BSc Cum Laude in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Ben Gurion University in Israel.
Tali Aben
General Partner – Gemini Israel Funds
Tali Aben joined Gemini in 1994 and was the first woman partner in an Israeli VC. She focuses on Enterprise Software and Data Security and represents Gemini on the board of several private companies. Tali joined Gemini in 1994 from RadView (NASDAQ:RDVW), then a start-up software company and a member of the Rad group, where she served as Marketing Director. Prior to joining RadView, Tali was Senior Product Marketing Manager at SunSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:SUNW) in Mountain View, Calif. From 1990 - 1992, Tali served as Marketing Director for Mercury Interactive (NASDAQ: MERQ), then a start-up company, where she established the company's US sales and marketing organization. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University.
