Panaya Chosen to Speak at Managing your SAP Projects 2009

We are pleased to be chosen as a speaker at the upcoming Managing your SAP Projects conference, one of the most important events of the year for professionals who manage and support SAP projects, COEs, and PMOs, to be held in Las Vegas, 28-30 October.

This year's conference includes a track dedicated to planning and executing SAP upgrades, a field in which Panaya has built its name as an expert. Panaya's session, "Critical lessons to help you avoid the 10 SAP ERP 6.0 upgrade risks, pitfalls, and challenges", will examine the top 10 upgrade challenges, as determined by an analysis of more than 150 systems. In this session you will:
  • Improve your ability to focus your efforts and mitigate your risks by knowing which components are dramatically impacted by the SAP ERP 6.0 upgrade and which are less affected
  • Learn how to ensure that the modifications you make to function modules and forms do not cause post-upgrade runtime failures
  • Examine how authorizations can be impacted when you upgrade
  • Take a look at how to handle SAP Notes during an upgrade
  • Take home a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet highlighting the SAP objects, such as transactions and remote function calls (RFCs), that require an adjustment when upgrading

For more information visit the conference web site.

In case you can't make it to the conference but still want a copy of the presentation and handout you can request them here and we will e-mail them to you after the conference.

Panaya's session will take place on Thursday, 29 October, at 11:30 am at the Rio hotel in Las Vegas.
