
Yossi Cohen, CEO & Founder Yossi Cohen has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, in which he has focused on developing tools solutions for reengineering, integration, and database technologies. Yossi was previously the founder and CEO of Alexandria - a database migration technology company whose customers include Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney, CitiBank, Daimler-Chrysler, and New York State. Alexandria was acquired by BluePhoenix (NASDAQ: BPHX) in 2002. Before that Yossi was the founder and CEO of Predicate Software, a professional services company specializing in complex migration and integration projects in Israel. Yossi was also a software engineer and DBA at Formula (NASDAQ: FORTY), Jacada (NASDAQ: JCDA) and in the Israeli Air Force. Yossi holds a B.Sc. Cum Laude and a M.Sc. Summa Cum Laude in Computer Sciences, both from the Tel Aviv University. Yossi is currently completing his Ph.D., which describes a framework for building database software analysis tools.
Raffy Wreschner, CFO Raffy Wreschner brings to Panaya over 15 years of international experience in operational and financial leadership, and a proven track record in venture financing and M&A. At Panaya he is responsible for all finance, legal, HR and administration activities of the company. Most recently he was head of Business Operations for the EMC Storage Software Group (NYSE:EMC). Raffy joined EMC following its successful acquisition of Kashya, a leading data replication software company, where he served as its CFO prior to the acquisition. Before joining Kashya, Raffy was the Controller at Alchemedia - a data protection software company. Raffy also worked for 5 years in public accounting both in the UK (with BDO Stoy Hayward) and in Israel (with KPMG). He received his BSc in Economics and Accountancy from City University, London and is a UK qualified chartered accountant.
Amit Bendov, Chief Marketing Officer Amit BenDov has over 15 years of experience in managing development, marketing, and sales to Global 1000 corporations in North America, Europe and APAC. Most recently he served as Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing/VP of Sales and Marketing at ClickSoftware (Nasdaq: CKSW), a $25M enterprise software company traded on Nasdaq. In pivotal leadership roles almost from inception, through first sales, IPO, “Tech bubble” crisis, to emerge as 2003’s best performing stock among Israeli companies traded on Nasdaq, and as a growing, profitable company, outselling the nearest competitor 3:1. He has a B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from Tel Aviv University.
Amnon Drori, VP Worldwide Sales
Amnon brings to Panaya over 18 years of international experience in sales, business development and field marketing in both hardware and software IT markets. Amnon held senior international marketing, channel development and sales positions in the IT, Internet and telecommunication industry. Prior to joining Panaya, Amnon was Vice President of International Sales and Field Marketing at Zend, the PHP Company and a leader in the open source market. At Zend, Amnon built a multi-million dollar business from the ground up. Before joining Zend, Amnon was a Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at ModusNovo, Ltd and the Senior Business Manager for Europe and Africa for Alvarion (Nasdaq: ALVR), formerly known as BreezeCOM, where he was responsible for establishing and expanding channel distribution, market planning and sales strategy. He has a B.Sc. in Management and Computer Science from the Open University of Tel Aviv.
Mati Cohen, Chief Technology Officer Mati Cohen has been with Panaya since its inception and is responsible for driving the company’s innovation, product strategy, and technologies. Between 2002 and 2006, he was a Senior Project Manager at IBM, where he was responsible for the implementation of large-scale SAP projects. During his extended military service in the Academic Reserve of the Israeli Navy, Mati led innovative and complex award-winning projects. Mati holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Management (Information Systems) from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at Ben Gurion University.
Nurit Dor, Ph.D., Chief Scientist Dr. Nurit Dor is Chief Scientist at Panaya. Nurit has extensive experience in developing academic and industrial program analysis tools. Prior to joining Panaya, Nurit was a Program Analysis Researcher at IBM Haifa Research Lab where she designed and developed new program analysis tools and techniques. While interning at Microsoft Research, she was involved in enhancing a static analysis error detection tool. As project manager and programmer at Log-On Software Ltd, she developed methodologies and tools for Y2K conversion. Responsible for developing Panaya’s program analysis technology and maintaining Panaya's thought leadership in both the software industry as well as academia, Nurit has published papers in leading academic conferences on program analysis topics, and won numerous awards for her research. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. Cum Laude in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
